Designed and printed by julia juliette press and art directed by the patient Jennifer Schumacher. I was commissioned by the International School of Louisiana, New Orleans, to be their 2010 patron artist. The challenge was to celebrate their 10-year anniversary while incorporating a... refrigerator! About 200 refrigerator drawings later I became inspired by a retro-styled illustration and then layered nine other silhouettes of patterned refrigerators (to make 10 total!) Hand-drawn type, printed in 3 colors but creating 4 colors by overlapping the blue and yellow (while the ink is still wet!). Printed with love in an edition of 200.
